Refurbishments

Alteration and improvement work typically involves removing walls, roofs, floors etc and the installation of lintels, steels, joists, insulation, dry lining, plumbing and electrical services to name but a few. We pride ourselves on excellent workmanship, great detailing and the ability to think ahead (even where we are not providing a follow on trade).

Extensions

Extensions are undoubtedly the corner stone of our business. We prefer to be involved at the early stages of design so that we can offer practical advice on configuration and budgets, with our own architect and engineer engaged in a collaborative effort. Of course, many of our clients already have drawings of their proposals, in which case we will happily provide an estimate for the project.

Conversions

We undertake Garage, loft, basement and barn conversions of all sizes and complexity and can confidentially advise on costs and a range of practical matters affecting design and implementation. We can undertake the design work for you where we will endeavour to incorporate value engineered solutions to maximise your budget or we can price work off drawings you may already have.

01. WHERE DO I START?

We will discuss your project, expectations and budget. We can then advise if planning and building control would be required.

What If plans have already been submitted? We will talk through them with the architect and discuss any planning or structural issues that are likely to occur. We would be able to give an estimate of cost after this meeting.

02. DESIGN

If no plans have been submitted we will introduce you to our architectural services. With their knowledge of local authorities they will ensure the fastest route to planning approval. They can offer a complete service from design, planning submission and building regulations approval.

03. BUDGET

Once detailed drawings have been provided we will be able to produce an accurate costing for the project. We will be able discuss a payment schedule at this point.

We're innovative thinkers. Talk to us about what you are trying to achieve, the budget in mind and we will work with you to provide solutions

04. CONSTRUCTION

Before construction commences together we will set start and finish dates. The construction team are qualified and accredited who have had years of experience. If you decide on any changes throughout the build we will discuss any implementations and accommodate where possible.

We know it can be stressful undertaking work that is why we are committed to being tidy, organised and approachable at all times.

05. COMPLETION

When we reach the “practical completion certificate” stage. We will arrange a site meeting with you to ensure you're completely satisfied with the project and how it has been managed. It is then time to pass the project on to the Building regulations for completion.
